HIPER 2040
HIPER 2040 is a unique sulphurised hydrocarbon which is very light in colour and exhibits very low odour. The product has been designed for a variety of applications and is particularly suitable for Automotive and Industrial Gear Oil formulations. When formulated between 2 to 3 % in the finished Gear Oil , it imparts outstanding shock loading characteristics. When combined with the right Phosphorous additives and anti oxidants, Gear Oil packages / formulations can be prepared.
It is well suited to formulate EP Greases at a dosage of 1 to 2% depending on the desired load bearing characteristics. A copper passivator is recommended along with this to get the required copper corrosion properties for Greases.
The higher Flash Point compared to conventional SIBs will be a major advantage.
